E&E2004 State of the Program - Health Managers Workshop
The Europe and Eurasia and Global Health Bureaus are proud to introduce Health Managers Workshop 2004.

The Workshop will be held May 18-21, 2004 in Tirana, Albania. The purpose of the Workshop is to enable health managers to take a step back from their daily activities and come together in order to discuss experiences in the field and exchange lessons learned. The Workshop will help E&E Health Managers to stay abreast of regional health developments, share sector challenges with field and Washington colleagues and exchange ideas on how to best address them. This Workshop will also help health managers to better understand the political, technical, programmatic and operational environments within which they work.

The Health Managers Workshop objectives include the following:

1. To allow health managers a forum in which to share experiences and knowledge across the region in order to facilitate relationships and encourage ongoing dialogues;

2. To identify critical constraints and needs facing missions and health programs and prioritize action plans for addressing them; and

3. To update health managers on current and emerging Agency policies, strategies, and processes relevant to the PHN sector.
